Do The "Kings of the Earth" Actually "Bow Down" To Jehovah's Messiah???

Text Box: Isaiah 49:7 says:

"This is what Jehovah, the Repurchaser of Israel, his Holy One, has said to him that is despised in soul, to him that is detested by the nation, to the servant of rulers: KINGS THEMSELVES WILL SEE AND CERTAINLY RISE UP, [AND] PRINCES, AND THEY WILL BOW DOWN, by reason of Jehovah, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who chooses you." -- New World Translation

Text Box: Also, bible prophecy tells us about the reaction of "kings" of the earth, when they are confronted with Jehovah's Messiah at Isaiah 52:15:

"he [Messiah] will likewise startle many nations. AT HIM KINGS WILL SHUT THEIR MOUTH, because what had not been recounted to them they will actually see, and to what they had not heard they must turn their consideration."

These are baffling words to Jehovah's Witnesses, especially since they believe the above words apply strictly to Jesus as the Messiah. Also, Jehovah's Witnesses are taught too, all the "kings of the earth" will be completely destroyed at Armageddon, and will be given no chance to serve God in the end, is that not so?

However, as many are becoming aware, the YORWW Congregation believes, just as the Jewish nation believes namely Jesus, incredibly as it may seem, COULD NOT have fulfilled in his lifetime and ministry on earth, all of the things the prophecy of Isaiah 49:1-7 says of the coming Messiah. We sincerely believe, as the YORWW Congregation, upon close examination, the things that are described in that particular prophecy are self-evident to show clearly, that he didn't.

Neither do we believe, in order to fulfill the great prophecy of Isaiah 49:7, Jesus is going to resurrect DEAD KINGS & PRINCES in the millennium, who will by that time be of course, EX-kings and Ex-princes, so that they can now "bow down" to Christ during the 1,000-year Reign, so that the prophecy of Isaiah 49:7 can finally be fulfilled either, as some have suggested. That possibility, according to the facts we have at hand, simply does not exist. Nor, do we [YORWW Congregation] or even the WTBTS for that matter, believe or advocate such.

WHO ARE THE "KINGS OF THE EARTH" OF

ISAIAH 60th CHAPTER & REVELATION 21:24-26???

Many bible students today are aware of the prophecy of Revelation 21:24-26, and know that these verses are a direct quote from the prophecy of Isaiah 60th chapter, verses 3, 10, 11 and 16, is it not?

Well, according to the Watchtower Society, the "kings of the earth" are the 144,000 kingdom heirs, destined for heavenly life. The publication Revelation Its Grand Climax At Hand! page 310, paragraph #17 says:

"Who, then, are the "kings of the earth" who "bring their glory into it"? They are not the literal kings of the earth as a group, for they go down to destruction fighting against God's Kingdom at Armageddon. (Revelation 16:14, 16; 19:17, 18) Could the kings be some high-ranking ones of the nations who become a part of the great crowd, or are they resurrected kings who submit to God's Kingdom in the new world? (Matthew 12:42) Hardly, because for the most part, the glory of such kings was worldly and has long since faded. "The kings of the earth," then, who bring their glory into New Jerusalem must be the 144,000, who are "brought...out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation" to rule as kings with the Lamb, Jesus. (Revelation 5:9, 10; 22:5) They bring their God-given glory into the city to add to its radiance."

Therefore, we can see the Watchtower Society does teach the "kings of the earth," mentioned at Revelation 21:24-26 pictures the 144,000 kingdom heirs, destined for heavenly life. But, didn't the quote above say:

"...They [144,000] bring their God-given glory into the city..."

Aren't in fact, the 144,000 according to the Watchtower Society, suppose to actually REPRESENT, or actually BE the city itself...namely New Jerusalem?

Does this viewpoint expressed above, make sense to you?

However, we must say, the YORWW Congregation does not believe such a thing, at all.

Instead, the YORWW Congregation believes the prophecy of Isaiah 49:7 will be fulfilled when the "kings of the earth," yes kings of this earth, actually acknowledge someone that was promised to come upon earth.

Yes, Isaiah 49:7 will be fulfilled when ANOTHER authorized "messiah" from God, comes to earth, a "man," exactly like Zechariah 8:23 pointedly says, and as millions upon millions of those of the Jewish Community currently believe, and have believed for centuries upon centuries, to fulfill this prophecy (Isaiah 49:1-7), along with all of the prophecies we read about where the "Kings of the earth," bow down to him (Messiah), and the restored nation of "Israel" (Isaiah 49:23). Praise Jah! (See also Psalms 72:9-11; Psalms 102:15; Psalms 138:4; Isaiah 52:14, 15; Isaiah 60:3, 10, 11, 14, 16; Jeremiah 33:8-10; Revelation 21:24.) All of these verses show, the "kings of the earth" and the accompanying "nations" that follow them, will finally acknowledge God's Messianic "King," God's visible earthly king ... yes "behold him" on earth (Isaiah 33:17), as well as acknowledging restored "Israel" [formerly apostate, Israel], and yes, even "bow down" to them both ... both, before Armageddon.

Amazing!!!

As you may already know, the biblical expression, "Bow Down" has much meaning within the Holy Scriptures.

Let's examine this fact.

Actually, the expression "bowing down" is mentioned many times in Holy Scripture, towards God's Name People, Israel or, its Messiah. For example, Isaiah 60:14 pointedly says:

"And to you [restored "Israel"] the sons of those afflicting you must go, bowing down and all those treating you disrespectfully must bend down at the very soles of your feet, and they will have to call you the city of Jehovah, Zion of the Holy One of Israel."

But why does Almighty God, Jehovah, find it absolutely necessary to have the wicked "bend down" yes, to the "righteous" in this instance, you may ask?

Well, we find at Proverbs 14:19 a profound, Divine Principle that Jehovah God always follows, in all matters of justice. This Great Divine Principle states:

"Bad people will have to BOW DOWN before the good ones, and the wicked people at the gates of the righteous one." -- NWT

This Divine Principle shows us, God's Divine Will for all on earth to acknowledge those in whom Jehovah has found "righteous" in the end, in His final and lasting judgment of matters. It becomes just as 1 Corinthians 15:25 NWT says:

"For he must rule as king until God has placed all of his enemies as a stool for his feet."

We definitely see this exact same Divine principle (Proverbs 14:19) amply demonstrated for us when Jesus was allowed to "preach" to the wicked spirits "in prison" after he had faithfully completed his earthly ministry.

1 Peter 3:19, 20 says of this situation:

"In this [state] also he went his way and preached to the spirits in prison, who had once been disobedient when the patience of God was waiting in Noah's days, while the ark was being constructed, in which a few people, that is, eight souls, were carried safely through the water." -- New World Translation

Then too we remember, Jesus himself also enacted this very same Divine Principle (Proverbs 14:19) when he said to his first century disciples:

"...I will make them come and do obeisance before your feet and make them know that I have loved you." -- Revelation 3:9 New World Translation

Please note, Jesus said he was going to MAKE THEM, do this. He will force the issue. So, the wicked simply won't have a choice in this matter. No, they do not. An excellent example of this principle in action, are provided in the bible citations found below:

Psalms 72:9 -- "...inhabitants of the waterless regions will bow down..."

Psalms 72:10 -- "kings will pay tribute... and bring him many "gifts" ... [to appease him]

Psalms 72:11 -- "all kings will prostate themselves to him...all nations will serve him."

Psalms 102:15 -- "All the kings of the earth...will fear your glory."

Psalms 138:4 -- "All the kings of the earth ... will laud [praise] you..."

Isaiah 49:7 -- "...Kings and Princes...will "bow down" to him," ... [acknowledge his kingship]

Isaiah 52:15 -- "... At him [Messianic king] Kings will shut their mouth...they will see" and give their "consideration" at this important matter.

Indeed as we examine the prophecies above, we can see clearly the "kings of the earth" are voluntarily acknowledging Jehovah's King, Jehovah's Messiah, even going to the point of "giving him gifts," to appease him. -- See Psalms 72:10.

BIBLE PROPHECY INDICATES THE NATION OF "ISRAEL" TOO MUST BE ACKNOWLEDGED AND RESPECTED BY THE WORLD, AFTER FINALLY BEING RESTORED FROM APOSTASY!

Let's compare these verses:

Isaiah 49:23 -- "Kings and their princesses...," "... with faces to the earth they will bow down to you..."

Isaiah 60:14 -- "And to you the sons of those afflicting you must go, bowing down; and all those treating you disrespectfully must bend down at the very soles of your feet, and they will have to call you the city of Jehovah, Zion of the Holy One of Israel."

Psalm 22:27, 28 -- “All the ends of the earth will remember and turn back to Jehovah. And all the families of the nations will bow down before you. For the kingship belongs to Jehovah, And he is dominating the nations.”

Jeremiah 33:9 -- "And she will certainly become to me a name of exultation, a praise and a beauty toward all the nations of the earth who will hear of all the goodness that I am rendering to them. And they will certainly be in dread and be agitated on account of all the goodness and on account of all the peace that I am rendering to her.’”

These verses indicate too, apostate “Israel” of our times (Jehovah’s Witnesses) must be restored to God's Final Favor after being disciplined. They must be "bowed down" to or acknowledged by the nations, in the end.

And of course, Revelation 21:24-26 where the Jehovah's Witnesses mistakenly say these verses applies to the "anointed" Jehovah's Witnesses from their midst, exclusively. (This is a good point for JW Apologists to note.) These verses (Revelation 21:24-26) corresponds to the prophecy found at Isaiah 60:3 & 10

... Sooooooooo after reading the 60th chapter of Isaiah over, think:

(a) If the 144,000 anointed "kings of the earth" as the WTBTS teaches, are being discussed in that chapter, then why do they (144,000) find it necessary to seek out "light" from formerly apostate, formerly disciplined, now restored "Israel"? Yes, why would the 144,000 "kings," these spiritual leaders of Jehovah's Witnesses, need to seek out "light" from the nation of Israel? (Compare Isaiah 60:3.)

(b) And further, why would the 144,000 JW "kings of the earth" now find it necessary to "minister" to formerly APOSTATE, formerly disciplined "Israel," (Isaiah 30:26) ... why would the anointed "remnant" 144,000 "Kings" do this? (Compare Isaiah 60:10.)

Does this make good sense to you, based upon what this prophecy is clearly saying???

Think about it.

So on the basis of all of these prophecies we've [YORWW Congregation] cited above, we can clearly see the Godly Divine Principle at work, namely that of Proverbs 14:19, do we not??? Indeed it will become exactly as Psalms 86:9 says:

“All the nations whom you have made will themselves come, And they will bow down before you, O Jehovah, And will give glory to your name.” -- New World Translation

And what is even more important, this Divine Principle (Proverbs 14:19) has been already enacted several times, even though Armageddon has NOT come. According to this Divine Principle, even if a person is quite wicked, still this Divine Principle must be enacted, for Godly Justice purposes. Yes, before even the wicked, those that refuse to repent, all the way up to Armageddon, and are finally executed, and put to death...even these ones must acknowledge this principle, before being destroyed by God. We note this important point at Daniel 7:12, where these political "kings" are given time...to think it over, before Armageddon!

Yes, Jehovah's Grand Standards of Justice has to be made clear to them, namely the political rulers of this earth, if they do not accept his gracious offer found at Psalms 2:10-12, to "exercise insight," and "kiss the Son," before...yes, before they are destroyed at Armageddon! Yes, that is exactly why...why they are being executed before Jehovah, in righteous judgment of His Will. Because, they failed to "KISS THE SON" of God! It’s just that simple.

And again, this is because God Almighty, the Righteous One, is putting them to death at Armageddon! It is He, who has righteously judged them worthy of death. And why?

Again, it is because they would NOT ... NOT voluntarily "KISS THE SON," God's Newly Appointed Earthly Messiah! No, but they instead decide to "spit upon" him (Isaiah 50:6) and “REJECT” his important message & ministry of repentance for Jehovah's Witnesses (Israel of bible prophecy) as well as for the rest of the world. These nations/kings ultimately refuse to “praise” and “exult” in a severely disciplined nation, a nation who have endured their Godly Discipline and are now finally due respect and honor from the entire earth. (Isaiah 30:26; Micah 4:6, 7; Jeremiah 33:8, 9; Jeremiah 50:4, 5) Yes, these Kings,” instead of "Kissing the Son" and acknowledging his God-Given Superior “kingship,” would rather judge him to be UNWORTHY before Jehovah, to be His "King." (Matthew 21:42; Luke 19:27) Oh yes, this one who is to become the true “Servant” of Isaiah 49:1-7, the person who was chosen for this terribly, weighty job of modern-day "Messiahship." Think about it! -- Isaiah 49:7; Isaiah 52:15

Remember, Jesus said in the "last day," we would be judged by "THE WORD" spoken to us, yes, from the mouth of God’s Modern-day “Servant.” (Isaiah 49:1-7) Yes, this “Word” would be spoken to us by Jehovah’s Messiah of our modern times, the one who will use God’s Holy Word as his “authority” ... in the "Last Day." -- John 12:48; Luke 16:10; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17; Hebrews 4:12

Think about it!

Remember, Isaiah 52:15 gives us the actual reason SOME OF ... SOME OF the world's "Kings," "Princes" and World Dignitaries will finally acknowledge Jehovah's True Messiah upon earth. The bible prophecy clearly states:

"he [Messiah] will likewise startle many nations. At him [Messiah] kings will shut their mouth, because WHAT HAD NOT BEEN RECOUNTED TO THEM THEY [KINGS] will actually see, and to WHAT THEY [KINGS] HAD NOT HEARD THEY [KINGS] must turn their consideration."
