When Apostasy Occurs...

“But the Spirit speaks expressly, that in latter times some shall apostatise from the faith, giving their mind to deceiving spirits and teachings of demons.” -- 1 Timothy 4:1

The Darby Translation

See also Matthew 24:12.

“Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the MAN OF LAWLESSNESS is revealed, the son of destruction.”

-- 2 Thessalonians 2:3 ASV

...Where Should You Go???

Hmmmmmm, Lets all think for a minute...

Where did David go when King Saul turned apostate?

Where did Elijah go when Israel went into apostasy?

Where was John the Baptist when Israel fell into apostasy?

They all went where Jehovah God was...

...to the place where God’s Law was first given to Israel...

...back into the wilderness, to Mount Horeb [Mount Sinai]...

...far away from the APOSTASY!

Mount  Horeb [aka “Mt. Sinai”]

The Mountain of the True God,” spiritually-speaking, in the wilderness, in the “End Times.” The resting-place of Jehovah, Himself...the place where Moses received the Law Covenant, far away from apostasy!

-- See Exodus 3:1; Exodus 3:12; Exodus 19:2, 20;

1 Kings 19:8;  Hebrews 12:18-21; Revelation 12:6, 14.

Question:

Where did Moses go when the Israelites

wickedly made the “Golden Calf”???

Answer:

“As for Moses, he proceeded to take his tent away

and he pitched it OUTSIDE THE CAMP, FAR AWAY FROM THE CAMP; and he called it a tent of meeting. And it occurred that everyone inquiring of Jehovah

would go out to the tent of meeting,

which was OUTSIDE THE CAMP.”

-- Exodus 33:7 New World Translation

“Therefore, my beloved ones, flee from idolatry.”

-- 1 Corinthians 10:14 New World Translation

Matthew 7:15

Acts 20:29, 30

JW Elder

35 And I will bring YOU into the WILDERNESS OF THE PEOPLES and put myself on judgment with YOU there face to face.

36 “‘Just as I put myself on judgment with YOUR forefathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I shall put myself on judgment with YOU,’ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.

37 ‘And I will make YOU pass under the rod and bring YOU into the bond of the covenant.’

38 And I will clean out from YOU the revolters and the transgressors against me, for out of the land of their alien residence I shall bring them forth, but onto the soil of Israel they will not come; and YOU people will have to know that I am Jehovah.’”

(Ezekiel 20:35-38; Compare Revelation 12:6, 14)

Two Questions: Why Can’t The Watchtower Society Explain The Above

Prophecy In Their Literature?

Could It Be Unknowingly, Jehovah’s Witnesses Are Going

To Fulfill This Prophecy?

Shavuot -- Shavuot commemorates the anniversary of the day God gave the Torah to the entire nation of Israel assembled at Mount Sinai, although the association between the giving of the Torah (Matan Torah) and Shavuot is not explicit in the Biblical text. *** [See footnote below.]

The holiday is one of the Shalosh Regalim, the three Biblical pilgrimage festivals. It marks the conclusion of the Counting of the Omer, and its date is directly linked to that of Passover. The Torah mandates the seven-week Counting of the Omer, beginning on the second day of Passover, to be immediately followed by Shavuot. This counting of days and weeks is understood to express anticipation and desire for the giving of the Torah. On Passover, the people of Israel were freed from their enslavement to Pharaoh; on Shavuot they were given the Torah and became a nation committed to serving God. The word Shavuot means weeks, and the festival of Shavuot marks the completion of the seven-week counting period between Passover and Shavuot.

***Footnote: Mt. Sinai or Mt. Horeb is known as the "Mountain of Jehovah" or the "Mountain of God," as shown at Exodus 3:1,Exodus 3:12Exodus 19:2, 3, and 1 Kings 19:8. Yes, it becomes the exact same place where the "laws of truth" [NWT], or "true laws" [KJV] from Jehovah Himself, was given to Moses and the people of Israel. -- See Nehemiah 9:13, 14.

We recall, Paul once referred to this most, fearsome, awesome mountain, and the awe inspiring "display" shown there, when he reminded Christians of this Holy Place. He stated:

For you have not approached that which can be felt and which has been set aflame with fire, and a dark cloud and thick darkness and a tempest, and the blare of a trumpet and the voice of words; on hearing which voice the people implored that no word should be added to them. For the command was not bearable to them: "And if a beast touches the mountain, it must be stoned." Also, the display was so fearsome that Moses said: "I am fearful and trembling." -- See Hebrews 12:18-21 New World Translation; Also compare Revelation 11:19.

Therefore this special place, represents the permanent residence or "resting-place" of Jehovah on earth, His Permanent Earthly Address in a spiritual sense if you will, and thus should be viewed as THE ...THE place, where Jehovah can always be found, especially when "National Apostasy" has occurred. ("National Apostasy" occurs when the entire Nation itself is found "guilty" of Breaking the Law Covenant. When the "Sin" or "Transgression,"  has been committed by Israel, God's People. For example, see Leviticus 4:13-21 where the entire nation's sin must be atoned for, according to the

Law of God.) It [Mt. Sinai/Mt. Horeb] is therefore, the place of origin where the "Law" of Jehovah was given to mankind, the "Holy Covenant of God," and the place all members of the "Holy Covenant" should go, in case for any reason the same-said nation should ever BREAK THAT COVENANT. (For example, this is the place the prophet "Elijah" went when the nation of Israel became an "apostate nation" [NWT] or "hypocritical nation" [KJV]

-- See 1 Kings 19:8Isaiah 10:6.)

All of this means of course, Apostasy in itself = the official DEPARTURE from that Law Covenant, forfeiting all of the blessings inherent in that Covenant also. (See Deuteronomy 28th Chapter for details.) Thus, Biblical "Apostasy" can be considered the OFFICIAL DEPARTURE from that same-said contract with God, or "Holy Covenant" with God, as well as the full departure from Divine "Truth" itself. Indeed, Mt. Horeb, Mt. Sinai, is that very special place, the only place in fact, where Jehovah God can always, always be found, because of National "Apostasy." -- See Daniel 11:30, for an example of this type of situation facing mankind, prophetically-speaking.
